Crawler-Mounted Material Handlers for Challenging Ground ConditionsIn recycling, construction, demolition, forestry and waste processing, efficient material handling equipment keeps operations productive and running smoothly. A crawler-mounted material handler combines a crawler undercarriage, a strong hydraulic system and a durable structure to handle heavy materials reliably in demanding environments.
Why tracks?
The crawler-mounted material handler is developed for sites where ground stability and mobility matter. Compared with wheeled equipment, tracks provide stronger traction and better ground adaptability on uneven, muddy or rough surfaces, which suits outdoor projects, recycling yards, construction sites and industrial areas with difficult ground.
The wide tracks spread the machine's weight evenly, reducing ground pressure and improving balance in heavy-duty work. This keeps the machine stable when lifting large loads or working on uneven terrain, improving both efficiency and safety.
Handling capability
With its hydraulic system and attachments, the machine can lift, move, sort and load scrap metal, wood, stone, construction waste and bulk goods, while hydraulic force ensures smooth operation and precise control.
Durability
High-strength steel structures, reinforced frames, durable hydraulic systems and wear-resistant parts are designed to withstand continuous heavy workloads and harsh environments, extending service life and reducing maintenance requirements.
Applications
Recycling: sorting and transferring recyclable materials.
Demolition: removing debris and handling construction waste.
Forestry: moving logs and other heavy materials.
Interchangeable attachments let operators adapt the machine to different tasks and improve equipment utilization. Compared with larger fixed equipment, crawler-mounted machines are also easier to move between job sites and can work in restricted or hard-to-reach areas.
Operator cab
The cab provides clear visibility, ergonomic controls and a comfortable working environment, helping operators control lifting and loading accurately and reducing fatigue during long shifts.
Maintenance and efficiency
Accessible service points and durable components make daily inspection and maintenance easier, and regular maintenance helps prevent unexpected failures and reduce downtime. Optimized hydraulic systems and efficient power solutions deliver strong performance while controlling energy consumption.

Heavy-Duty Steel Grapples: Durable Attachments for Demanding HandlingIn recycling, construction, demolition, forestry and waste management, reliable handling equipment supports continuous operation. A heavy-duty steel grapple is designed for strength, powerful gripping and a long service life when handling heavy materials in demanding environments.
High-strength construction
The grapple is made from high-strength steel to withstand heavy workloads and harsh conditions. Its reinforced structure resists impact, wear and heavy pressure, so it performs consistently during intensive handling of scrap metal, construction debris, logs, stone and bulk materials. High-quality steel components and reinforced joints help extend service life and reduce maintenance frequency.
Gripping performance
Strong jaws and an optimized mechanical structure let the grapple grip and move different materials securely and precisely, reducing the risk of loads falling or shifting in transit. This makes it a suitable attachment for excavators, cranes and other heavy machinery.
Smooth operation
The structure allows smooth opening and closing, improving working accuracy. Combined with hydraulic equipment, the grapple offers better control and faster operation, helping operators complete complex handling tasks with less effort.
Applications
Recycling: collecting, sorting and transferring scrap metal and recyclable materials.
Demolition: removing concrete pieces, steel structures and construction waste.
Forestry: handling timber and logs.
Maintenance and safety
The practical structure makes key components easier to inspect, clean and repair, and regular maintenance helps prevent unexpected failures and minimize downtime. Stable gripping and controlled movement help operators handle heavy materials more safely, the strong structure resists deformation under pressure, and reliable connection systems keep the grapple securely attached to the machine.

With electric drive and a durable grab system, it loads, unloads and transfers a wide range of materials.
What it handles
The electric mechanism and grab attachment handle coal, ore, sand, grain, scrap metal and other bulk goods. The grab picks up and releases material quickly and accurately, improving loading efficiency and reducing manual labor.
Stable, durable structure
A strong structural frame and reliable lifting components support continuous heavy-duty operation and keep lifting, slewing and positioning smooth. High-strength materials, a reinforced crane structure, a durable grab mechanism and quality electrical systems contribute to a long service life, and with proper inspection and maintenance the crane maintains stable performance over long periods.
Electric drive
Compared with fuel-powered equipment, electric grab cranes can reduce energy consumption and operating costs while delivering consistent power. Electric drive also minimizes emissions, making it a cleaner choice for material handling.

Lithium-Battery-Powered Electric Grapple: An Efficient, Eco-Friendly SolutionA lithium-battery-powered electric grapple combines the power and precision of a conventional hydraulic grapple with the environmental benefits of electric drive and lithium-ion battery technology. It is designed for industries such as scrap handling, demolition, construction and forestry, where efficiency, mobility and sustainability matter.
Key features
Lithium-ion battery power
The grapple is powered by lithium-ion batteries, which offer a long service life, high energy density and fast charging. The machine can run for extended periods on a single charge, which suits continuous use.
Zero exhaust emissions
Unlike diesel-powered grapples, the electric grapple produces no exhaust emissions, reducing the carbon footprint of operations. This makes it a good choice for indoor or urban sites where diesel fumes would be a problem.
Quiet operation
The electric motor runs much more quietly than a diesel engine, reducing noise pollution, which matters especially in urban and residential areas. Lower noise also improves safety, because workers can hear surrounding sounds and signals more easily.
Precision and control
The electric motor and digital control system provide smooth, accurate movements, giving precise control when lifting and handling materials, including delicate or complex tasks.
Lower maintenance costs
With fewer moving parts and no fuel or exhaust systems, an electric grapple is easier to maintain, which means lower maintenance costs and less downtime. The long-lasting lithium battery also reduces the need for frequent battery replacement.
Lower operating costs
The initial investment may be higher than for a diesel machine, but savings in fuel, maintenance and operating costs make it more economical over time, and lower energy consumption further reduces running costs.
Applications
Scrap handling: sorting and moving scrap metal, plastics and other recyclables in scrapyards and recycling facilities; quiet, emission-free operation suits confined spaces.
Construction and demolition: handling debris, demolition work and moving heavy materials such as large pieces of construction waste, with less impact on the surroundings.
Forestry and logging: handling timber and logs; electric power reduces fuel costs and environmental impact in remote areas where fuel transport is difficult.
Material handling: factories, warehouses and distribution centers, where energy efficiency and easy maneuvering help optimize operations.
Summary
For businesses that value sustainability, efficiency and cost control, the lithium-battery-powered electric grapple offers precise control, quiet operation, and lower operating costs and environmental impact than a conventional diesel-powered grapple, whether in scrap handling, construction, forestry or general material handling.

Troubleshooting Methods for Grapple MachinesGrapple machines are built from welded steel structures, which gives them stable performance and a long service life, and they are widely used in industrial and mining applications. The following troubleshooting methods cover some of the most common faults.
If the hydraulic shear does not retract after reaching the cutting position, first check the proximity switch, then check the coil.
Repeated cutting failures may be caused by a faulty transfer switch.
Frequent operation can burn out the contacts of the three central relays, which is also a major cause of malfunctions.
The entire control circuit runs on 220 V AC, and the proximity switch location is a high-failure point.
The on-site environment can also affect performance, for example by causing connection failures between the backup control box and the operating control box.
