Electrical Safety Devices on Dock Cranes

On lifting equipment such as dock cranes, the electrical system is a critical component, and its condition directly affects how the crane works. To ensure normal operation and personal safety, electrical safety devices are installed to prevent malfunctions and control accidents. The main devices are listed below.

1. Torque limiter: stops operation when the load exceeds the rated capacity.
2. Zero-position interlock: prevents equipment damage or personal injury caused by a motor starting by itself.
